Running through the T
There's a sound the place makes right before the team comes out and you feel it through the floor.
The band opens into a T at one end of the field and holds it there. Then the team comes through the middle of it, straight down the gut, and the whole place goes off at once. People who have watched it fifty times still get up out of their seats.
On the sideline there's a bluetick coonhound named Smokey, an actual dog with an actual howl, and he has held the job long enough that there have been a lot of him.
