There's an arch at the edge of campus that students don't walk under until the day they graduate. Four years of going around it. People who would swear they aren't superstitious will still step off the sidewalk rather than chance it.
After a win somebody goes to the chapel and rings the bell, and then somebody else does, and it keeps going. Late into the night, a line waiting their turn in the dark, the rope going up and down.
